For over 70 years, World Relief has been equipping churches around the world to stand with and serve the vulnerable in their communities. Here in Sacramento, we are proud of our long legacy of welcome and care for our refugee and immigrant neighbors. Since 1989, World Relief Sacramento has resettled over thirty-thousand refugees and provided legal services to hundreds of immigrants.
We are committed to helping form deepening, mutually transformative relationships between the foreign-born and native-born members of our community. By joining with World Relief Sacramento, we invite you into relationship with our immigrant and refugee neighbors to both bless and be blessed.

Conversations about refugees and immigrants can at times be cause for contention. We feel a call and a responsibility to offer our experience and expertise to churches with the hope of creating healthy dialogues that will lead to transformation.

We equip churches through:

  • Book Studies and Devotionals

  • Custom resources to host a Sojourner Sunday (Sunday service devoted the biblical theme of the sojourner)

  • Classes on the global and local realities of refugees and immigrants

  • Trainings to equip volunteers to serve

  • Opportunities to engage in relationship with refugees and immigrants

We would love to invite you for an office tour or an initial call to learn more about your ministry and to introduce you to the ministry of World Relief Sacramento. Set up a tour or call with a Church Mobilizer.
